SOME NOTEWORTHY FEATURES OF WASHINGTON DIESELS:

1. All Washington Diesels are of the 4-cycle, solid injection, heavy duty type. 2. Washington Diesels are extremely accessible for repair and adjustment. 3. All pump drives are enclosed and self-lubricated but pumps are on the outside of the engine so as to be easily accessible. 4. Pistons are removable through the engine frame doors without dismantling valves or heads. 5. All engines are fitted with removable cylinder liners. 6. On reverse gear type marine engines the reverse gears are fully enclosed, pressure lubricated and have 110% in reverse. 7. On direct reversing marine engines the reversing is accomplished by an air ram and the engines can be handled at any desired speed. 8. Direct reversing engines are available with a sailing clutch built into the engine. 9, All marine engines are made for the adaptation of pilot house control. Control is made in three types - manual, electropneumatic or manually controlled air. 10. Stationary engines can be fitted with various types of governors.
